NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month, is an annual competition where writers of all kinds and shapes, from around the world, complete a 50,000 word novel between November 1 and November 30.

You can learn more than you'll ever want to know about NaNoWriMo here.

Official 2005 NaNoWriMo Winner

In 2005, I completed my first NaNoWriMo novel (a novella, really) and since I wrote a thousand words an hour, I named it the Kiloword Hour.

You can read, or download Kiloword Hour here.

Warning - may contain typos, spelling errors and swear words.

Neither novel is particularly smutty, nor contains any gratuitous sex. Swallow Soap, however, features prolific use of the 'f' word, although, when uttered by the Newfoundland characters, it's spelled with an 'o'. Does that count?

Forewarned is forearmed, they say.

Official 2007 NaNoWriMo Winner

In 2007, I wrote Swallow Soap, another freeform fiction piece. I competed 50,000 words at 8:56 on November 29. I finished the story you see here at precisely 8:56 on November 30. Kinda creepy, eh?

You can read or download Swallow Soap here.
